| --- | --- | --- |

The announcement does not state an exact Spring Session opening date. Interested players should confirm the first match date and current roster availability directly with the league before making plans.

## Which format may suit a new player?

An 8-Ball or 9-Ball division can be a straightforward starting point for someone who prefers one game format throughout the night. Double Jeopardy combines both formats in the same league program and may suit players who want broader competition.

Travel divisions rotate among participating host locations, while the venue-specific listings normally center play at the named poolroom. A prospective player should ask whether a division needs an individual, a pair of players or a complete team.

| Player preference | Option to ask about |
| --- | --- |
| One regular host location | Livingston's Billiards, Livingston's Amusements or Salty Jim's division |
| Multiple local venues | Bradenton/Ellenton, Sarasota or Venice/Englewood Travel |
| Both 8-Ball and 9-Ball | Double Jeopardy |
| Full-size equipment | 9-foot-table divisions in Sarasota |

## Is Manasota APA considering additional leagues?

Yes. Manasota APA says it is looking for additional host locations and more ways to play. The league specifically asked whether local players would support a daytime league, a weekly women's league or a weekly men's-only league.

That request is an interest check rather than confirmation that those divisions already exist. Players with an idea for a location, format or playing time should contact the league and explain what they would be able to support consistently.

## How can an interested player join?

The official schedule graphic directs players to contact Bobby at **719-337-3478**. A new player should mention the preferred city, night and format, along with their APA membership status and current skill level if known.

The [official Manasota APA Spring Session announcement](https://league.poolplayers.com/Manasota/post/58263) should be checked for any schedule changes. Final team placement depends on available roster spots and the league's confirmation.
