Triad APA Shoot for the Cure Registration Opens Oct. 31
The program includes a room at Hollywood Casino and entry into the main event under the announced terms.
Triad APA will open online registration for its Shoot for the Cure Doubles event on October 31, 2026. The program gives local players a route to compete outside the Triad area, with travel support tied to participation and a minimum field of 12 teams.
The league says 100% of tournament entry fees will be paid back to help offset travel costs. Triad APA will also cover the room at Hollywood Casino and the main-event entry fee under the announced program.
When does Shoot for the Cure Doubles registration open?
Online registration opens Saturday, October 31, 2026. Triad APA directs players to its website, where the entry path is listed under Tournament Registration and then Doubles.
| Registration detail | Announced information |
|---|---|
| Online registration opens | October 31, 2026 |
| Format | Doubles |
| Minimum participation | 12 teams |
| Entry-fee use | 100% paid back to help offset travel |
| Additional support | Room at Hollywood Casino and main-event entry |
Players should use the official registration route after it opens rather than sending an informal message or assuming that interest alone reserves a place.
What travel assistance has Triad APA announced?
The league describes the opportunity as a way for players to travel to another area and compete against APA players from outside their home league. Travel assistance is based on participation, so the size of the local field directly matters.
Triad APA has announced three central benefits:
- All tournament entry fees are paid back at 100% to help offset travel costs.
- Triad APA covers the room at Hollywood Casino.
- Triad APA covers the entry fee for the main event.
These benefits can reduce the largest expenses associated with an away tournament. They do not necessarily cover every personal cost, so teams should still budget for transportation, meals and any unlisted incidental expenses.
Why is the 12-team minimum important?
At least 12 teams must participate for the program to work as announced. Players who want the travel opportunity should not wait until the last moment to find a partner or submit their registration.
| Before registering | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Partner availability | Both players can commit to the local and travel requirements |
| Membership status | APA information is current |
| Event rules | The team meets all published eligibility and skill-level limits |
| Personal budget | Transportation, meals and other costs not listed as covered |
| Contact details | The league can reach both players with updates |
The opening announcement does not list every competition rule in the post itself. Teams should read the linked fact sheets and registration page before paying or making travel plans.
How should a doubles team register?
Beginning October 31, players should visit the Triad APA website, choose Tournament Registration, and select the Doubles option. The official Shoot for the Cure announcement also links the local and destination-event fact sheets.
Teams should verify the entry cost, eligibility rules, skill-level requirements, tournament dates and cancellation terms on the live registration materials. If any information conflicts with a saved flyer, the current Triad APA instructions should control.
Because travel assistance depends on participation, registered teams should notify the league promptly if a partner changes or the team can no longer attend.
